Toyota’s UK dealers have started selling the latest Avensis with customer deliveries expected in January.
This is a facelift of the third generation car built at Toyota’s Burnaston plant.
The brand is pitching the model firmly at company car user-choosers with claimed reductions in C02 emissions and improvements in fuel economy.
The best-selling 2.0-litre D-4D engine sees a emissions reduced by 14 per cent to 119g/km and combined fuel economy improved by 15 per cent to 61.4mpg.
